The King Cobra Discus fish is one of the most desired species of discus. They are very popular with electric blue and burnt orange swirls all over their body. Their fins tend to be longer and more elegant and the coloring is spectacular. The red scribbled markings on a brilliant teal background by themselves are amazing, and when you add its vertical black bars which can almost go unnoticed, the fish becomes one that people love to keep and look at. The vertical lines are more visible from the King Cobra’s side and can be seen every time that it turns away.
If you are looking to breed the King Cobra discus fish then you could start by looking for pairs that have already bred in the past. You should know however that most of the time when you find such couples they can be a bit more expensive. If you get anywhere from 8 to 10 King Cobra Discus fish you will probably have 2 couples. Getting them young is ideal, but they do take some time to reach sexual maturity and have the ability to breed.
When it comes to breeding the King Cobra discus you should also put a lot of emphasis to the diet. The diet should be very nutritious and varied. As a breeder you should make sure that your fish eat it. A diet of live bloodworms and white worms is recommended, but extra care is necessary to ensure that you do not introduce disease to the aquarium.

Top notch service! I received the King Cobra and Emerald Green discus in the same shipment. I followed the acclimation procedures and noticed the fish moving more as the process progressed forward. They were swimming around my tank as soon as installed. My wife and I are very happy customers and would definitely buy from Macs again!
