As the name implies, this discus is bright white in color. There are no patterns and it is a solid color all over the body. The dorsal fin and the pectoral fin of this discus are white to opaque and from far away resemble spikes. The tail region is opaque and it seems as if this discus has no tail when observed from a distance. On closer examination, the facial region is a dark cream color which stands out against the white eye of this discus. This is a beautiful addition to your aquarium because of its color and the spiky resemblance of the fins makes it a rare looking discus unlike some other fish that are available.
Discus originate from the basin of the Amazon River and are a larger type of tropical fish that have become a popular choice for aquariums. This is because of their distinct disc like shape and the dorsal and pectoral fins that run across the top and bottom towards the tail region. On average the white diamond can mature to about 8” long. They usually have the same height and length which contributes to the overall round, flat shape. The color of this white diamond discus contrasts against the green vegetation of an aquarium and will be a beautiful addition to yours. Although they are large, the discus is very peaceful and possesses a calm nature. It is non-aggressive and highly social and prefers the company of other fish with a similar temperament and that are also slow feeders.

All the fish came in good condition and healthy. This little one is pure white and a tint of blue near the fins.Active and bossy. The body and fins are in perfect shape. Readily eats frozen brine shrimp and dry flakes. Will like to buy more from Mac's.

The fish is a 2.5" of translucent white. Is perfectly shaped. Is the living pearl of the aquarium. Is eating well and very healthy. Great choice.

These are my favorite discus. Sometimes I see them in the LFS but I only get this from Mac's Discus because I know they will be very healthy and none of them will be stunted, which is a big deal to me.
They are young but they look exactly like the picture just slightly smaller..
Do yourself a favor and follow Steve's instructions on acclimation exactly. I followed Steve's acclimation instructions exactly, and even sooner than expected, they are roaming about the tank and are very curious. They sort of follow me in their tank as I walk around the room. It's pretty cool because I'm used to most Discus being very shy for a long period of time. In any event, I waited until night time to feed them, in which the gobbled up everything I put in the tank. Here we are 3 days later and they are doing really, really well.
I am very happy with this purchase!

These are hands-down the best discus I have ever had. Stunningly beautiful and you can tell the quality in the breeding. Steve really knows his stuff! I followed his acclimation instructions exactly and they are doing extremely well. They weren't even hiding the first hour and have already started pecking at the substrate as if they are looking for food.
Thank you again, for the excellent selection..!
