Description
Red Spotted Green Discus Fish F-2, by selecting the most colorful and spotted, Red Spot Green Discus Fish, came the second generation (F-2). This discus fish was tank raised so the strain became more colorful with each generation over the wild RSG. I believe that nature would not allow such colorful fish in the wild as they would be too flashy and therefore fish bait for larger predators. In captivity we can select for more color and fancy design and continue to breed these until the strain becomes fixed. In the Red Spotted Green F-2 Discus Fish the colors are more vivid, blues bluer and reds redder, this discus fish does not have as much of the earth tone golden color which the wild RSG has. This discus fish’s diet should include frozen bloodworms and krill to maintain maximum color, and can reach an adult size of 7 inches. Excelled Exoectations
First time to order from Mac. Everything was as I had read. All five arrived to Texas and acclimated to the tank quickly and now after two weeks they are going strong. Fish all had more color than I expected and are very healthy.

Another beautiful fish!!!
I know this color is going to brighten up my aquarium. Still has juvenile coloring but that is even beautiful. Any color blue on my discus glows under the blue LED lights, striking!!
