Description
The San Merah discus is a truly gorgeous addition to any aquarium. This is a bright red discus with a pale, almost white color dorsal and pectoral fins. The tail is opaque and almost invisible making it seem as if it has no tail. The face of the discus is a light cream color with a shade of purple and is a bright addition to your aquarium. If you examine the San Merah discus closely, there is a small pattern, resembling spots found towards the tail region of this discus. The tail fin has this distinct spot pattern running through it and has a dark brown shade towards the top. This discus can grow up to about 8” and it has the same length and height which gives it a flat body.
Originating from the Amazon River basin, discus are a popular choice for aquariums because of the bright colors they possess. They are a round shaped and have dorsal and pectoral fins that lead all the way to its tail which makes it a beautiful view to see as it glides around the water. This bright red discus is attractive and an eye catcher. It is a very peaceful creature and highly social especially among other types of fish that are not hostile. It can be kept with several discuses at one time and are slow feeders. The gorgeous body of the San Merah discus contrasts among its fellow inhabitants of the aquarium and the plants.

San Merah Stunning Red Fish
I have bought many red discus from different sellers but the San Merah I received from Macs is by far the best shaped and fire red discus. I will continue to buy discus from Macs. Keep up the great customer service.

I bought 2 discus from a site in Florida Huge mistake. Claimed 2 inch fish. Both were the size of a dime and one did not survive. I was so impressed with both Discus from Macs Discus. Absolutely beautiful and very healthy. I was so impressed. I would highly recommend this site

Pricey , but worth it!
Fish arrived in April ,in CT, in great condition. Acclimated as per instructions, put in tank- the fish started eating right away. Doing great. Will buy again.

Beautiful healthy Discus
I ordered a variety of 6 different Discus on Oct20,2016. I live close enough to Mac's so I was able to pick them up myself. The fish are very healthy and acclimated very well. The colors are fantastic and get better every day. I will order from Mac's again as soon as I get a little more tank space.

Mac's discus are the most colorful, active, and healthy discus I have ever seen. I've been in the hobby for close to 15 years and have never seen discus of such high quality in person. I ordered 11 fish, one of the San Merah, and every one is absolutely beautiful!! 2 of the fish died, due to a handling issue during shipping that caused their bags to break, and Steve (Mac) refunded one fish and replaced the other. The quality of the fish and Steve's service is unbeatable. If you are even thinking about purchasing from him, DO IT! You will be very happy you did.

Very Nice fish
i received king cobra, san merah and lemon yellow. what i can say nice fish color even they still little, fish no shy at all looking for food all the time.
